Dr Cindy Sit zӳդh


Cindy is Associate Professor at the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research areas are investigations of physical activity levels and participation motivation of children and youths with and without disabilities. Other related research interests include examining the environmental characteristics that influence physical activity levels of children in special schools, and studying the role of interactive electronic games in the promotion of physical activity in children. Dr. Sit is currently a member of the Curriculum Development Council Committee on Physical Education, Education Bureau, Hong Kong SAR Government. She was awarded the IFAPA/ICSSPE Scholarships in 2007, and was the first Asian recipient of the Young Professional Award in Adapted Physical Activity selected by the International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (IFAPA) in 2009.
